In case someone have never used the custom debuff function, let me explain what it is first. If you are using Healbot, you probably have already set the healbot bar color to change when someone need decurse/cleanse. However, it normally doesn't show other undispellable debuffs.

Fortunately, you can set it up manually:

Select Cure tab => in the New Debuff slot type in "Frost Blast" => click Save

Make sure you have selected Monitor to remove debuffs and Show on health bar.


This will make the healbot bar change color (brown for me) when someone got the debuff. It is especially useful for tracking debuffs that cause the players to require extra healing, so raid healers are strongly encouraged to use this function.


Some ICC raid debuffs that you would like to add to your healbot custom debuff list include:

1st boss:
Impaled
Coldflame
Bone Storm

4th boss:
Boiling Blood
Mark of the Fallen Champion

Anymore to add?


Some ToC raid debuffs:
Impale
Incinerate Flesh
Penetrating Cold

Wake, the newer hb continued has a lot of these already. Another important one is adding curse of tupor. Even if you cannot decurse, it is good to know you have it and cast some other random spell you dont use(great for priests and sw:d).

Doesn't the curse affect every spell for it's entire duration? I remember getting locked out for each spell I used in one of our earlier attempts.

It only locks you out of the spell that you casted, not the tree. I was hit by the curse mid cast on nourish last night and was stilla ble to cast regrowth. It just increases the cd for that spell to 15 seconds.

I mean, casting Nourish with the curse active will add a 15 sec cooldown to it. With the curse still active (if it doesn't get removed) casting Nourish will also haave the added 15 second cooldown. I was saying that it doesn't go away after a spell cast (never mentioned trees).

When we had no curse removers in our raid, I remember rotating my priest spells so that I always had something off cooldown.

Oh really? Looks like mine is not yet updated. :P

Anyway, I think it's still good to introduce this option to newer healers who are unaware of it.
